We hiked up the misty mountains in Tennessee. I wanted to take portraits of Daniel that represented him fully, so he took me on a drive to this spot. Outerknown saw the series and asked to use them.

Living for yesterday or tomorrow either holds you back or makes you stumble forward. Being in the here and now keeps you grounded.

The rain was falling, and at the end of our hike, Daniel knelt down and dipped his head into the creek, laughing and shaking his head, drenched in water.
