She's a wild woman, and a friend to all. Patagonia surf ambassador, Kim Diggs, ventures into California momentarily each year to surf and talk with the gang at Patagonia.   Born on the thin strip of land known as the Outer Banks, NC, Diggs has a love for pirates, the ocean and adventures.
Previously a sponsored Hurley surfer, Diggs now travels as a surf ambassador, testing new surf and yoga gear all the while, spreading the good name of Patagonia wherever she goes.   
When she's not being photographed for magazines, or being filmed in a surf movie, you'll find her traveling to Nicaragua helping out families in need, playing the guitar or singing in local bands. All who come in contact with this surf siren are left in awe of her honest beauty and gentle charm. As quickly as she comes into their lives, she vanishes into the vast blue ocean without a word, disappearing for days, weeks or months, seeking out new adventures.  
I am proud to call this lovely girl my friend. She inspires me daily with her faith, her kindness and her ability to fall in love instantly with those around her. Her laugh and smile are genuine and her passion is true.

"The people. We are in the South and we are respectful. It's such a small place that everyone truly is like one big family."

"I wear a lot of black, a very modest hipster I guess… I wear mostly guys clothes and try and make 'em work."

"Light offshore winds, a North Swell [for home] so it's all lefts, breaking right off the beach."

"I come home from my travels always with change from other countries.. So I started drilling holes in them. I find turquoise, coral and little trinkets at swap meets and thrift stores and try to make pretty things with them all."
